Ana Garcia

Associate

Ana García is an Associate at Fresh Coast Climate Solutions. Ana has prior experience working in the international development nonprofit sector as a research analyst with the Education Development Center, where she conducted research on growing blue and green economic trends that are relevant to youth education and skills development policies and practices in low- and middle-income countries in Southeast Asia. She is knowledgeable about food security and sustainable agriculture, having worked as a food security policy analyst at Puerto Rican NGO Espacios Abiertos, where she researched the underlying causes of food insecurity in Puerto Rico in order to make policy recommendations to improve the state of agriculture and food security in the island.


Ana holds a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from Johns Hopkins University and is currently a graduate student at the University of Basel in Switzerland, where she is working towards a master's degree in Sustainable Development. She offers a unique interdisciplinary perspective on sustainability issues as well as an international outlook, having lived in Puerto Rico, the U.S., Germany, and Switzerland. Ana is passionate about making sustainability a top priority for businesses and is committed to driving sustainability across all areas of business operations.
