Clean Energy Program Designed To Create Climate Equity
Fresh Coast Founders helped implement a clean energy program, Cities of Promise, specifically designed to help eight of Michigan’s cities with the greatest need.
The program included establishing revolving energy funds, energy efficiency (EE) and
renewable energy (RE) improvements, technical assistance and training events across the eight cities. In total, $4.4M in funding was invested in EE and RE improvements – ranging from LED lighting and boilers to new traffic lights and solar installations.
